Motor Body Builder

Your Main Duties will include but are not limited to:

Manufacture of vehicle bodies and components

Modification of vehicle chassis and body panels

General sheet metal fabrication (Steel and Aluminium Alloys)

Mentoring Apprentice Motor Body Builder

Maintaining fabrication area and tooling
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

Ability to interpret drawings and work autonomously
-
Excellent Light gauge welding skills (MIG & TIG Welding)
-
Some basic auto-electrical skills are advantageous
-
Creative ‘Can-Do' attitude
-
Ability to learn fast and problem solve

High attention to detail while maintaining a high work rate

Be well presented with good communication skills

Be enthusiastic and determined to get the job done
Applicants must have an appropriate recognised qualification (Cert III motor body building, boiler making etc.) + 5 years industry experience.
Auto Electrician

Specialised and Emergency Vehicles Australia are a Brendale based specialist fleet bodybuilder catering to large government and private business fleets.
Our ideal Auto Electrician candidate would possess extensive diagnostic, repair and installation experience with accessory electrical systems in commercial and passenger vehicles.
You would possess a sharp mind with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet, working through electrical problems unassisted and finding solutions.
You would be confident working individually and cooperatively, making your own autonomous decisions when needed.
You would be well presented and mannered with the ability to comfortably converse with our end users.
Applicants with high exposure to dual battery systems (Lithium, AGM, lead acid), solar systems, various lighting systems, LVC’s , emergency vehicle systems, voltage inverters and fridges would be highly regarded.
Applicants with additional experience/qualifications in running your own small business, light fabrication skills and an HR license will also be looked favourably upon.

Specialised and Emergency Vehicles Australia (SEVA) is a Brendale based specialist fleet bodybuilder catering to large government and private business fleets. SEVA is a family-owned company and can trace its roots back over 40 years.

We are seeking a new team member to join our busy workshop. This role has a key focus on fitting electrical and automotive accessories to light commercial vehicles, vans and trucks. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

Assembly and integration of equipment into a range of emergency and specialised vehicle builds on our production line

Bench assembly of vehicle components and sub-systems

Installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment whilst under supervision

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
